WhoooWeee What a Wednesday......

Now say that five times really fast....lol...I have got a lot to talk about today! I've got some artwork to show you, some catching up to do and a new venture that I'm so excited about....

First - is the FREEBIE challenge over at Dude Time Doodles. You know it - it's the second Wednesday of the month and the Dudettes have gone all out to represent the graduating class of 2011!
I'd love for you to meet Kurtis the Graduate! Our nephew Kurtis graduates high school this Saturday and this card is just for him! He is the inspiration for the image and if you haven't guessed he's also quite the musician. He already has a cd out - Simply You. We are so proud of him!

Second - Now that you know that creative talent runs deep in this family I will let you in on a little secret.....our eldest son is writing his very first novel. You can find his very first blog (still in the creative stages - yes Mom is helping him out) Writer's Block if you are interested in zombies, survival and overcoming despondency. Now this is a work in progress as I have now become a book editor as well as all the other hats that I wear so as his chapters come to me I will be cleaning them up and posting weekly.  This should be an interesting diversion from froufrou cards, don't you think?

Third - I was able to get a project done for The Sisterhood. I have felt so bad for not getting the time to play with my Sisters and so happy to have carved out a wee bit for this Father's Day project.  I just love this little old guy from Sentimental Sunday. He's colored with Copics and completely enjoying his day.

Lastly - I  have been very busy with my "real" job these last 5-6 months as I have taken on a new role, been training new staff and helping overall with the new structure being implemented when BIG changes occur. I'm so sorry to have not been able to stop by and visit as much as I would like but I am seeing some very much needed light at the end of a long dark tunnel and guess what? It's not a train!!

I sure hope that if you have a graduate in your life that you drop by Dude Time Doodles and pick up the Freebie this week, and if you need some FAB Father's Day inspiration head to The Sisterhood and if you are looking to get the bejeebies scared out of ya drop by Writer's Block for some good old fashioned zombie stompin'!
