Dude Time Doodles New Release Blog Hop

It is totally time to get on the Blog Hop train and check out what Dude Time Doodles has been up to creating with the newly released Bonibleaux Designs Digis. WootyHoot!!

So for today's hopping eye candy pleasure I created two cards:

For my first card I used "Who Brought the Broccoli?" This image was inspired by an overheard conversation of a bunch of really cool tail-gaters.  One 'dude' looked at the other 'dude' and asked "Who brought the broccoli?", to which they all looked at each other and shrugged then looked over to where the women were standing! HILARIOUS!!
[thanks Miss Shelly for this AWESOME idea!  I colored these dudes up with my Copics, the 'and the crowd goes WILD' is an overlay so it is hard to see in the pic but looks really cool "live".  I laced the ribbon and added the charm cuz they looks cool Dude!]

This Blog Hop does not have a starting and ending point so no matter where you HOP on you are in the right place. Just keep going. Don't forget to leave some love everywhere you land, including here! Once you have gone full circle you have completed the Hop.
I am so happy to get to send you on to Miss Lynn next!
We hope you like what you see! We certainly had a blast putting it together for you!!

Don't forget all of the images you see will be for sale in the Store by 10:00 a.m. EST today!

Commissioned work...

Below is a card I did for a coworker for his wife's birthday! He said she likes blues and purples and is a froufrou girl. LOL

And he wanted something mushy on the inside:

Well I think I hit all the high notes LOL He seemed to really like it and was surprised that it was handmade. I love surprising people with one of a kind works of love!!

I hope she had a Wonderful Birthday!

Dude Time Doodles Inspiration Challenge

I wanted to thank everyone for their warm wishes for me to get better soon. I have literally been down and out with the flu and doing the simplest of tasks has become quite the chore. I'm feeling a little better every day but this bug really has gotten me down. So I decided to get crafty and create a special project for the Dude Time Doodles challenge today.  The challenge is an inspiration board HERE.

And here is my submission this week:

I used Jose Hosed for Bonibleaux Designs Digis to create this very cool looking tissue box cover.

I used the tutorial HERE to get all my measurements just right.

And I just used my computer and my fingers to type up some get better soon advice and wishes.

It now sits on my desk at the office bringing me some cheer and lots of oohs and aahhhs from my coworkers and a couple of orders LOL I hope I feel better soon so I can get on that.

I hope if you are feeling under the weather that you get better real QUICK!! I still haven't done my Turkey Day grocery shopping yet - hope the kids and hubby like PBJ for their thankful feast this year LOL!!

Enjoy and have an AWESOME day!

The most recent being my eldest son!

I hope that you will join me in standing up and giving a HUGE shout out to the men and women who stand guard so that we may sleep better at night. Happy Birthday USMC! You do us proud!

My card is using an image that was sent to me by Glitterbabe (I think LOL), the papers are all BG - this card reminds me of a cool and frosty drink - delish, refreshing and leaving you wanting more....like CAKE!! So be sure to head over and enter the challenge this week.

The Winners List is Up!!

Be sure to head over to Dude Time Doodles and check to see if your name is listed in the Winner's Circle!

Today's card is zoomin' by to say hi! The image is Holiday Cruiser by Our Craft Lounge (I picked up this cute set through Stamp-By-Step and I hear she's got a sale going on right now). I colored Mr. Turkey with Copics, used my brand new scalloped square die and had way too much fun zoomin' down memory lane.  When I was a teenager my best friend had a green Volkswagen Beetle Bug - we were always zoomin' around in it. Heck we even rolled it once (still have the scars) LOL But man oh man did we ever have some good times cruisin' in that car, listening to AC/DC, eating Funyuns and drinking Mountain Dews. I actually just reconnected with that friend through FB just in the last couple of months. Yay!!

Hope you have a great day and don't forget to set your clocks back!

Dude Time Doodles is sponsoring Daisy Doodles Creative Challenges this week - be sure to check it out and play - the theme is planes, trains and automobiles!

I've been on a real Cowboy kick...

...lately. I don't know what is up with that but I am loving all things western. I found this great digital image while surfing through a site called QuickStep that has a ton of drawing tutorials. The name on the drawing is Marti Davis or Davas and I have tried to find this person to see if they have any more work but can't find them. But I LOVE the cowboy. I colored him up with my Copics and did some sunrise/sunset sponging to illuminate him.

I'm entering my little Cowboy Prayer in the Digis With Attitude Challenge this week, which is Anything Western!

Dude Time Doodles Sketch Challenge

The first official Sketch Challenge at Dude Time Doodles is today (ends November 12th).

The only real Rules are to use the sketch and make it a card for a Dude. A little dude, big dude, old dude, young dude. A Dude!!

I chose to create a card for a little Dude. My boys and I have this little game we play (since they were really little) where we try to out do each other in the "I Love You's" - I used to read Dr. Seuss to them all the time and this card is a take on One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish and the I Love You game.

Couldn't resist using the Bonibleaux Designs Sushi I, Sushi II, & Sashimi (which I found in the $1 bin) for my own created background paper and my little "popped" medallion.

I colored and texturized with my Copics and gave my little dude fish some glassy eyes.

I'm also submitting my Little Fish to the Raise the Bar Challenge which is curves.

Enjoy!!

I'm so LATE.....

I really had intended to have my post ready first thing this morning unfortunately the elections got me so pumped up and excited that I completely forgot and then when I realized that I had forgotten I was so tired that I went to bed, then I ran out of time this morning!

ACK!!

So the challenge at The Sisterhood is to use leaves in your project. I fell hard for the images in SU! Paisley Prints and this is what I came up with. The sentiment is from Papertreyink! Soo pretty!
Sorry the photo is so crappy - took it quick this morning in the dark!! LOL

Ok I'm off to the real job now....sorry but short and sweet is all I got today! I'm adding my project to the challenge over at Hodge Podge Shop Challenge - Be sure to check out the Blog Hop and Blog Candy give-away over at Hodge Podge too!

Happy HUMP DAY everyone!
