It is the 20th of the month and Dude Time Doodles is hosting their Inspiration Challenge. I just love the inspiration boards they offer up each month. You can really get your creative juices flowing when looking at these fun boards. You can take whatever element you like from the boards to create your projects.
Here's this week's inspiration board:
I chose several elements to play on this week. Besides the colors I chose to work in Southwestern, kisses, and partying. LOL What I created are little TicTac cards that I will be sneaking in to a few stockings this year.
I have been wanting to play with the TicTac template I created (yes the ones that I found online just didn't seem to work quite right so I made my own). Surprise!!
I cut my base cardstock 5" x 3" and scored from right and left 2 1/4".
I used Armchair Arnie and Tiny Tequila (shrunk down to about 2x2). It is harder to color between the finer details when they are this small but I LOVE how they turned out.
I also made up a few more using Penalty Pat and Rough Night Rodney but my favorite so far is Tiny Tequila. His sombrero and serape make me smile and I had to create my own sentiment as this little guy is going to make it in to son numero uno's stocking.
I sure hope you enjoy and you are inspired to join in on the challenge this round! Have a great Monday! Adios!
