I know I said I was taking a break, but I had already done the artwork so I figured I'd join the fun! LOL That's one of the greatest things about being a woman - I can change my mind any time.  Now if you got here from Nana Connie or you just showed up you are in for a treat!

I am honored to be working with Mitch Magistrate today for the new release blog hop.

Having spent many years working within the legal system, Mitch Magistrate spoke to me - no literally I had him in traffic court, LOL.  He was a tough old bird but threw the best Christmas parties ever!

Hopefully if you ever have to be in front of Mitch it's for one of his parties and not because of a ticket!

If you have never been on the DTD hop before it it a circular hop - you go around and around and when you come to back to where you started you are done! So it does not matter where you start but it is important to leave love along the way because one of the places you land will be giving away a goody but we never know which one so stack your deck and leave a comment on each one!

Break Time

I picked up this little sweetheart from Mo's Digital Pencil and got so busy I missed the actual challenge submission date but I did have plans for her and this is what I came up with. Her little skirt is Martha Stewart tissue paper, punched out in circles and pleated.  I used liquid Pearls for her bodice and Smooched her socks and ribbons.

Now on to the break time lead in.....I am taking a much needed break from blogging. I have been blogging consistently for three years now with hardly a break here and there and it is time for one now.  I am concentrating on the artwork for the store, some more house renovations and the real job. That doesn't mean that I won't slip the occasional card in but I really need to spend some time getting back to why I love this so much. Recharge my creative battery!

I have a confession to make. I have been so busy with the "real" job, the digital images and fighting with my internet service that my mojo has absolutely flown the coop. I'm finding it difficult to even stay remotely creative. So I went shopping LOL I flew over to A Muse and got in on their 50% off sale (code 50gone), I stopped by Stampington and picked up some art journaling mags to get the creativity moving again. I am thinking of doing an art journal, so this weekend I am off to pick up paints, brushes, paper, ModgePodge and whatever little shiny sparkly thing that catches my eye!

I'm hoping that all this helps - if not I'm going on sabbatical and who knows where my happy feet will take me.

Dude Time Doodles Freebie

Oh I am so mad at my internet provider. We have had so many problems the last couple of weeks and I keep calling and calling and they tell me that they don't see a problem, they can't figure out why I can't get my internet signal etc etc etc. It is like being on dial up all over again but now I'm thinking that dial up was faster than paying for all the equipment to be ordered, attached to the side of my house and for me to sit here flipping my laptop the bird and acting like a have audio Tourette's of the worst kind (have you seen Deuce Bigalow? That is me) LOL I have tried putting this blog post together for the last three days. Hopefully it actually posts this time.  If it doesn't I tried.
